The Four Noble Truths

The Four Noble Truths

Life is suffering
There is a cause to suffering
There is an end to suffering
There is a path that leads to the end of suffering.

We suffer
Emotional and physical pain
Our happiness cannot endure
Every pleasure has a price. DUKKHA.

We suffer because
We thirst, crave for a source of happiness in the world around us.
If only I had . . . If only he cared ....

We can end suffering by looking within ourselves for what we seek
and find from within the source of enduring happiness.
That source is the middle path
We find it by living a moral and respectful life

We can separate our personal suffering away and apart from our joy of existence
We can eliminate many conflicts by our mindful acceptance of the needs of others.

Suffering is the wind that blows against time.
We follow a path that allows for the difficulties and obstacles of life.

The destination is inevitable, the journey can be celebrated.
